I treated myself to a weekend of sewing. The retreat started Friday at 9:00am to 10:00pm and then Saturday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Each class was 3 hours long with a two hour break in between classes for lunch and dinner. You could sign up for all 5 classes or just some of them. I decided to take Friday off work and sign up for all 5 classes. Here are some of the pictures of the projects I signed up for. Of course I'm not done with mine yet but I got a good start on all of them.
This is the Family tree wall hanging. This is the finished one. I was able to cut out all of the boards and I learned how to miter the corners to give it that picture frame look.
This is the Fall table runner I signed up for. I was able to get the whole base of the quilt sewed and the pumpkins and sunflowers cut out and ready to applique on.

This is a Christmas countdown. This picture is actually from the magazine the pattern comes from. I got all number bases sewn and the numbers ironed on and ready blanket stitch around. I got the Santa square sewn but no Santa yet.
This is a flower baby quilt. I don't know of anyone in the near future having a baby girl to give this quilt to but I loved the flower. I signed up for the class so I would have the pattern and decided to changed my flower and make a table runner.

You are so talented! I wish I had the talent and creativity you have in your little finger! I have none. I have to buy them already done. I would LOVE to be able to sew and do neat projects like the ones you did! FUN!!
