What a Beautiful Baby!

We got to take care of Prestyn while his mother painted her pumpkin.
His mommy wanted him to stay awake so he would sleep at night.
As you can tell in these pictures he was REALLY tired looking.
For a tired baby, he was a really good baby.
Jason is a little heavier then Prestyn Grandma.
Scott, maybe we should have another baby???
Just kidding. I'll just visit this one.
"Am I awake or asleep?"
BIG cousin Riley taking a turn feeding Prestyn.
My turn, My turn! Grandpa Nelson loves his new grandson.

Prestyn's New Blanket

I machine embroidered the little images in the squares. Then put a boarder around that. The bigger boarder is a chenille material. I love the look this has created. I've been trying to do new things with my sewing. I've never dared to do binding on a quilt. I either make rag quilts or use a ruffle or a triangle to finish my quilts.
I did three boarders around the chenille.

I hope Yvonne and Prestyn enjoy this quilt has much I did making it.

#66 Riley's Last Football Game

Tonight was Riley's last football game. They lost but Riley got in some really good plays in.

His team does have some really good defensive players. If it wasn't for all of there offensive turnovers they might have done pretty good this game.

Riley has turned out to be a really aggressive player.

This is the best picture I got of him in action.

Working up a thirst!

I Love You Riley!!!!

Riley had his own personal cheering section this game.
(Cousins Penina, Kally, Tyree and Sister Cassie)
Even Andrew sat still (a little bit) to watch the game.
James had a great time.

Thank you Aunt Edris and family for coming to Riley's game.

Scott got his Deer Monday night.

Scott went hunting after work Monday night by himself.
He ended up with a good looking 2 point.
His dad went up the canyon to help him get the deer out.
Our freezer will be full this winter.
Thanks Kenneth for the help.

Weekend at our land.

We spent the weekend at the land while Scott went deer hunting. My brother brought his new puppy "Izzy" to play with us.
We had a great time with the new puppy. We went for several walks with her and my dogs around our land.
Apparently the puppy was thirsty when we got back.
Jason and Cassie found a new game with the dogs, running up and down the gully.
The dogs loved it.

Making an accordion book.

I made an accordion book for my dads 70th birthday last week.

My father was raised on a farm in Southern Arizona. His brother still owns and lives there. This is some of the antic farm equipment from the farm my uncle gave my brother and I. We went down to get it a couple of months ago and I thought my dad would like a book of the pictures I took when I was down there.
It was really fun to make.

Christmas Cards

I do a card swop with my mother and sister-in-laws. These are the Christmas cards I made for our swop. I love making and receiving the cards in the swop. It is great fun.
