Land Fire June 23, 2012

We were eating a snow cone when we found out our land might be in danger. We jump into our Nitro to see what was up. We had no time to go back and get the truck to get trailer out.

We could do nothing but go home and see what would be in the morning.

This is what we saw the next day. They wouldn't let us go check on our belongings.

This didn't look good.

Our fears were confirmed.

We lost everything.

I had the most special experience today with Riley and Scott. We went to Patriarch Swenson's home for Riley to receive his patriarchal blessing. After visiting for awhile he ask Scott to offer a prayer. It brought a beautiful spirit to the room. Riley then received his blessing. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever witness, right next to getting sealed to my family for time and all eternity in the temple. I always knew that Riley was a special spirit and would do great things but after hearing the words of the patriarch and what the lord has in store for him it was confirmed. Like Patriarch Swenson said "Riley you have your work cut out for you to achieve all these many blessings" I have full faith in Riley and he will active everything the spirit wants him too if he stays close to the lord and following his council.
